Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American entrepreneur for over 20 years. She is currently the president as president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA's majority owners. Buss, a Californian native has an affluent background. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty business tycoon and then later owned the Lakers. In the event that her parents divorced in 1972, she believed they'd left her. She joined her family's business at the age of 19 as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. The team was later renamed the Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice president of the Lakers. Buss along with her five sisters were heirs to the Lakers control following the death of Buss' father in 2013. Every sister was given an equal voice. Buss was elected in 2013 to take over the presidency of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss owns Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which promotes pro wrestling.
