Catherine Louise Sagal, better called Katey Sagal, is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She first made it big with her character as her mother and wife, 'Peg Bundy' on the TV show "Married .... with Children'. It is clear from her numerous appearances that she is an accomplished and versatile actress who can be found in comedy and drama roles. She received an Golden Globe award for her character as 'Gemma Teller-Morrow as the Matriarch of the Hell's Angels - esque California bike gang on the FX series 'Sons of Anarchy' that was created by her husband Kurt Sutter. Her other voice roles include voicing the character 'Leela as seen in the TV series Futurama, and several animated movies. The art of songwriting and singing has been her first passion. She was a member of a group in her early years and has some albums of her own. She was part of the sound tracks for 'Sons of Anarchy.' She comes from a show-business family, but has never been religious in any way. Everyone in her family, from her grandparents down to her children, has had some involvement with Hollywood.
