Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her role as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda & Voltea Pa' que te is enamoured. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had great success in both of these fields. As a Montreal native, she grew up in Texas and was always fascinated by dancing. When she was a young girl she began to learn various forms of dance. At the age 15 she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant program. In 2010, she was the receptionist of Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. Toubia was a part of Tattooed Love (2015), an action film. Toubia is nominated twice for Teen Choice Awards as the best TV actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi for her role in Shadowhunters. Eisley was born on October 29, 1993 at Los Angeles California. She is the daughter of actress Olivia Hussey (also known as Olivia Hussey) and musician David Glen Eisley. She has half-sisters to two brothers from both of her mothers' marriages.
